Rural Crime Prevention Tips PDF
And Neighborhood Watch

Click the link below to download "Rural Crime Prevention Tips" an informative two page brochure provided by Jessamine Sheriff Deputy, Larry Oliver, at our last annual meeting. Deputy Oliver suggests that having an active Neighborhood Watch program is one of the best deterents to local crime. While there is no active Neighborhood Watch program in Crosswoods at this time, all of us can do our part by reporting any suspicious activity to our local authorities. And if you would like to form and head a Crosswoods Neighborhood Watch Committee, then come to the next Neighborhood Association Board Meeting, the first Tuesday of each month.

Lost and Found: Check out our "Lost and Found" area on this website. Go to Neighborhood Information>Lost and Found to place a notice. If you wish to post a notice in the neighborhood about a lost pet, please consider making a temporary yard sign to place in the ground at stop sign areas. When something is taped to the stop signs or poles, the tape can damage the finish when removed.

Take Pride in our Neighborhood
Sweep grass clippings, leaves and pine needles from the street curbs and drains in front of your home as they can clog storm drains and decrease oxygen levels in water when they decay. Leave grass clippings on your yard and do not rake, as they are a natural fertilizer. Clippings left on the lawn return nitrogen and phosphorous to your yard - for free!
As our neighborhood matures, remember that our landscaping
does, too.
Trim bushes and cut back any tree limbs that extend
over the street.

Please patronize these generous businesses who donate to our Welcome Baskets for new Crosswoods residents:
