Convenience / Recycling Options for Crosswoods Residents:

There are TWO ways to take advantage
of this service:

(1) For small to medium sized items, use the Recycling Trailer Bin located at the Bellerive Fire Station.

Neighbors can drop off building materials, wood, carpet, mattresses and box springs, couches, metal, drywall, appliances, construction debris, cardboard, batteries, plastic containers, tanks for gas grills, steel and aluminum cans, and furniture for disposal.   Items not accepted include regular household garbage, food scraps, wet items, liquids, rocks, brick, dirt, concrete, brush, blacktop and oil.

(2) Take items directly to the Nicholasville Recycling Center

New Hours effective Dec. 1, 2012
Open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Saturday, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Closed Sunday.

Items accepted at the Hendren Way Location: Wood, Carpet, Mattress and Box Springs, Couches, Metal, Drywall, Appliances, Construction Debris, Cardboard, Batteries, Tanks for Gas Grills, and Furniture.
Items not accepted: Regular Household Garbage, Food Scraps, Wet Items, Liquids, Rocks, Brick, Dirt, Concrete, Brush, and Blacktop.

Note: The main recycling center in Nicholasville is a drop-off facility. They do not provide pick-up.
No Oil accepted. Oil is accepted free of charge at the Road Department.
